The Family Game of Wacky Vision | Googly Eyes

Googly Eyes is the hilarious family game that challenges your vision and leaves you googling for more! Put on the zany, vision-altering google eye glasses and start to draw while your team tries to guess what you’re drawing. Is that an igloo or a turtle? A birthday cake or a fortress? Players take turns drawing and guessing, so everyone gets a change to wear the glasses. The glasses come with three sets of lenses that range from mild changes to mind-blowing fun, so no one can see (or draw) straight-your vision will bounce off of the lenses.

Googly Eyes is a fun twist on classic drawing games that lets players of different ages and skill levels compete on equal terms, since the goggles make it fun and challenging for everyone. Unlike any other drawing game you don’t need to be an artist, and the rules are simple. Just roll the die and move-the space you land on tells you which color lenses to use (easy, medium, or hard). Then pick a card, set the timer, and start drawing. If your team guesses correctly you get to roll and move again; if not, then you stay where you are on the board. The first team to reach Finish wins.

This game is great for 4 to 16 players and for ages 7 and up.

Game Contents

  • Colorful Board Game
  • Spiffy Tablet
  • Timer
  • 162 Challenge Cards
  • 1 Die
  • 1 Pair of Glasses
  • 3 Changeable Lens: Easy, Medium and Difficult

How to Play

#MelAndNikkiReview

Googly Eyes had us all laughing out loud from beginning to end. This game is truly fair for everyone at any skill level. Usually I am not bad at drawing but having to use the glasses was very challenging but so much fun! Every time my husband and I would use the glasses it had Nikki giggly the whole time. That is what family game night is all about! Spending time together and laughing the night away.

Googly Eyes did exactly that and we loved it! It really exercised our minds and challenged us in a way that most games don’t even come close to. We got to conquer them together which made it so much more fun.

Therefore for this #MelAndNikkiReview we give Googly Eyes 5 stars out of 5! It would make a great addition to Family Game Night and remember to stretch out your face muscles as you will be using them a lot during this game. 😉

Nikki rocking the glasses look 😉

Since I work in the Construction industry, I thought it would be best to use my expertise in this game review. 😉

Momma Braga proudly sporting her Sherhill Construction shirt along with the amazing Build or Boom Game by Goliath Games.

We literally had a blast playing this game! We love the idea of promoting construction in this fun and interactive game. There are so many skills that can be learned with this game such as building STEM skills which include analytical thinking and shape recognition. Great skills for your child and as a family to grasp together.

We have been playing this game almost every night as Nikki loves it and keeps reminding me that it should be easy for me since I work in Construction. I still haven’t told her that I don’t actually do the heavy labor work but I will let her believe that I do. On a side note, there is no heavy lifting or hard labor involved in this game. 😉

Build or Boom is great for two players, ages four and up. On this #MelAndNikkiReview, we give it 10 booms out of 5! This is such a unique game and it is a much needed game for Family Game Night.

Word Search Game Brings Word-Fun!

Do you know someone who loves the classic hidden word puzzles? If so, then this is the perfect game for them and for the whole family!

Goliath Games brings us a new exciting game for family game night, Word Search Game

The race is on this new twist on the version of the classic hidden world puzzle – it turns a solitary activity into a fun group word game as players go on a word search. Rotate the specially-designed circular board to reveal the word that the players will race to find on this turn. Everyone plays at once, and the first player to locate the word marks it with transparent colored tiles. The player with the most colored markers on the board wins!

Playing the Game

  • The youngest player starts by turning the playing board in a clockwise direction until the first word is revealed. This word must be read out loud by the player.
  • All the players now search for the word on the board.
  • The hidden word can be written forwards or backwards and be positioned in all directions, horizontally, vertically and diagonally, but is always in one straight line. The first player to find the word must yell “Wordsearch!” and immediately point to the word on the board. If that player is unable to point to the word on the board, s/he must skip the current round and other players can search for the word on the board.
  • Play continues in a clockwise direction. The next player turns the ring until the next word is revealed.
  • The game continues until all the words have been played and the black starting space reappears.

Crossing Words

If a newly found word crosses a word that has already been found, the markers covering that previous word are removed from the board, unless those markers belong to the player who found the new word. When this removal causes another word to be incomplete, this word also has to be removed.

Contents

  • 1 Wordsearch Board
  • 8 Double-Sided Game Cards (16 Games Total)
  • 280 Marking Pieces (70 Red, 70 Yellow, 70 Green, 70 Blue)
  • Complete Instructions

#MelAndNikkiReview

I LOVE this game and finally found a game that was made just for me! 😉

Always thought I was excellent at hidden world puzzles and this game confirmed it as I did extremely well. It is the first time that I won every single time (my daughter is only four but my husband sure isn’t, hehe). I never win at games so this one wins the award for the best game EVER in my book (yes I am being bias, lol).

Wordsearch Game is fun for the whole family and really gets your mind moving. We love the many game card options and there is even an option to create your very own game card (how cool is that!). It truly is a fun game for all especially if you love word searching like me!

Therefore, for this #MelAndNikkiReview, we give WordSearch Game 10 stars out of 5! It exceeding our expectations of fun as it offered a chance to exercise our minds and our hearts as we got to spend some quality family time together. *Plus, I won all the games. 😉

This game is recommended for ages 7 years and up and two to four players can play. If you would like to purchase this game for your family game night, click here. You won’t regret it!

Greedy Granny and Pop Rocket Brings LOL Fun On Game Night | Goliath Games Review

Playing games are loads of fun especially when you play as a family. We were recently introduced to two games by Goliath Games and one of them just hit the Game market!

Both of these games had us laughing out loud through our Family Game Night and it was great as we haven’t laughed that much and hard in a very long time!

Greedy Granny

Can Granny’s even be greedy? Well this one surely is!

Greedy Granny is a mischievously fun game that is perfect for the whole family. Your mission is to swipe a treat of each type from Granny’s tray as carefully and as quietly as you can. One wrong move will wake her up and send her teeth flying!

How to Play

  • The youngest player goes first by spinning the treat wheel.
  • If the spinner lands on green, the player attempts to sneak a treat away from Granny.
  • Pay attention to the number on the spinner section as this tells the player how many times you must press the button on the side of Granny’s chair.
  • If the spinner lands on purple, the player must put a treat back (if they have one) and press the button the number of times indicated on the spinner.
  • If the player lands on a circle with a line through it, then you miss a turn.
  • If a player lands on the symbols of the two people, then the player may take a treat from the other player who has a treat
  • The first player to collect one of each type of treat and keep Granny snoozing wins!
  • For 2 to 4 players. Ages 5 and Up

Game Contents

  • 1 Granny in an Armchair (2 pieces, easy assembly required)
  • 1 Set of Granny’s Teeth
  • 1 Treat Wheel
  • 12 Treats

#MelAndNikkiReview

Greedy Granny truly had us laughing out loud from start to finish. Nikki and I would be on the edge of our seat wondering which one of us would make Granny loose her teeth. Lucky for me I was the one who always got Granny to fly, LOL! This in turn made my daughter laugh with delight and say, “You did it again Momma! This Granny is Greedy!” It was SO much fun! We give Greedy Granny 5+++ sweet tooth out of 5! It provided us with highly engaging entertainment with learning, laughter and family time.

Pop Rocket

Ready for some out-of-this-world fun?! Pop Rocket will surely have you seeing stars in this exciting game by Goliath Games. Pull the string on the Rocket to start the countdown, and roll the die. Keep an eye on that Rocket because it can BLAST OFF at any moment! Watch the stars explode into the sky and be the first one to collect enough stars to fill your constellation to win!

How to Play

  • The player who can jump the highest goes first. To start the game, that player should gently pull the fuse on the side of the rocket fully, and throw the die.
  • The die has a few landings. There is the star-catcher picture which means you can place a new star-catcher into play anywhere on the table. It can’t be moved without throwing the die again. When all your star-catchers are in the game, skip a turn. There is the picture with more than one star-catcher in it and this means you can change the position of one of your own star-catchers already played or move it on a pile or move it to the top of the pile if it was covered. If none of your star-catchers have already been played, skip your turn. The last picture is of a star on the die which means you steal a star from another player and add it to your star holder.
  • The game plays clockwise. When the timer ends (approx. 60 seconds), the rocket will open and release the stars!
  • Players win the small stars that land in the star-catchers of their own color.
  • With the collected stars, players would add them to their own constellation. If you are lucky enough to catch the BIG star, you can choose 2 extra stars of your choosing.
  • The first player to complete his or her constellation wins! *It is possible for several players to win at the same time.
  • For 2 to 4 players. Ages 4 and Up

Game Contents

  • 1 Rocket
  • 1 Big Star
  • 40 small stars
  • 12 Star-Catchers (4 colored sets of 3 star-catchers)
  • 4 Constellations
  • 1 Die

#MelAndNikkiReview

Pop Rocket had us jumping from our seats! The anticipation of it popping had both my daughter and I giggling throughout the game. Even though the pop happens in about 60 seconds, but it seems to take much longer as we are anticipating the pop. But that was the fun! Pop Rocket was a blast and we give it 5+++ Rocket Stars out of 5! This game offered us the fun, entertainment and laughs that we enjoy as a family.

There you have it! Two more amazing games by Goliath Games that will have your family smiling and laughing all the way through. These are the best moments and experiences to share together. Top 5 Games | Game Night Should Be Every Night

Recently, we introduced Family Game Night in our home and since then we have really enjoyed all sorts of games. But nothing can beat the games from Goliath Games and Pressman Toy!

We had the opportunity to try a few more games and we are so excited to tell you all about them as they are our top 5 games for Games Night! We are also proposing that Game Night should and could be every night! Why not?!

Jumping Jack

Jumping Jack by Goliath Games provides great hours of fun and excitement to little ones with learning and surprise! Jack is an adorable little bunny who sits on his bunny hill guarding his precious carrots. Now it is the little ones’ mission to carefully pull out the carrots out of the ground and collect them in their colourful basket. But be ready for a big surprise! If you scare Jack he will jump high into the air and you never know when he will jump. But catch the rabbit and you win the game or the person with the most carrots in the basket wins the game if Jack doesn’t jump out.

We had a blast with this game and as a parent, I loved seeing my daughter get excited with the anticipation that Jack was going to jump at any time. It was so much fun! We loved the spinner and how children can use it to read instructions with images and knowing how to count the carrots that they must catch.

This delightful preschool game teaches hand-eye coordination, taking turns and quick reactions. This game is great for ages 4 and up. Two to Four players can play too. On the #MelAndNikkiReview we give it 5 hops out of 5!

Game Contents:

  • 1 Bunny Hill
  • 1 Jumping Jack Rabbit

Catch The Fox

Some clucking good times with Catch The Fox by Goliath Games. This game was so much fun that even the fox loses his pants! The sly fox is sneaking around to steal your prize chickens but lucky you, his greediness gets the best of him as he can’t carry all the chickens he stuffs in his pockets.

So how do you play this fun game? Simple! The player who makes the best clucking sound goes first. The player rolls the die and places as many chickens as indicated on the die into the Fox’s pockets. S/he may choose any pocket to put the chickens into. Before ending his/her turn, the player must firmly press the Fox’s head one time, until it clicks. If nothing happens, play follows the pecking order and continues left.

But watch out! Since the Fox is so greedy, he will end up losing his pants! When this happens, you must save the chickens as fast as you can by scooping them up one-by-one and placing them safely in your chicken coop. But watch out for FOWL play – you can only use one hand to rescue the chickens! If the Fox loses his pants and no one has a full chicken coop, keep the chickens you have and play again until at least one player has a full coop. This game is great for ages 4 and up. Two to Four players can play too.

On this #MelAndNikkiReview we give it 5 foxes out of 5! We loved the learning piece to the game as you can do counting with your child to see how many chickens they have in their coops. But above all, it is super fun!

So how do you play this fun game? Simple! Press the caterpillar button to start Giggle Wiggle moving! The race is on! Using your fingers, place your colored balls in the hand above your base section and work your way to the top. You must pick up any of your colored balls that Giggle Wiggle drops before you continue. Shark Bite

Watch out or the shark will bite! Shark Bite by Pressman Toy is an exciting game as you never know when the shark will come up to bite. I have to admit that I would close my eyes every time I would hook a sea creature with anticipation of the “jump.” The object of the game is to be the player who catches the most fish before the shark jumps.

So how do you play this fun game? Simple! The youngest player goes first, and the game continues clockwise. On your turn, you roll the die to indicate how many sea creatures you need to catch. Using your fishing rod, hook one sea creature at a time. You can choose whatever sea creatures you would like, but once you have hooked one, you must pull it up. If nothing happens after you catch all of your fish, the game continues. When the shark jumps, the round is over, and the player who has collected the most fish is the winner.

I must say that this was one fun article to write and our daughter Nikki had a blast as she is getting the hang of the #MelAndNikkiReview now! 😉

Let’s begin shall we?!

Paint-Sation Easel

Painting with ease and without the mess sounds ideal doesn’t it? Well, that is exactly what Paint-Sation Easel by Goliath Games is all about. The easel keeps the paper secure and the side of the easel are designated spots to securely place the paint pods.

You just simply touch your brush along the specially-designed bristles, and you’re ready to paint!

We love how you can turn the pod upside- down and the paint never drips! This comes in handy with an energetic three year old. 😉 The Paint-Sation Easel provides hours of fun, creativity and art pieces for your home.

So it is bundles of fun with friends to play. Once you catch the ball you need to put it back into Mr. Bucket and the first player to get all three colored balls wins!

This game provides a lot of fun and laughs as the kiddies try to catch their color. We love the energy this game gives and it gets kids moving! Nikki loved being able to know her colors quickly and make sure she always caught the right one. Mr. Buckets makes learning fun too!

You switch on the circular pond, and the ducks start swimming – the bottom side of each duck has a colored shape. Each player takes turns picking up a duck and looking at the color and shape; if it matches their color and shape they get to keep he duck. If it doesn’t match then the duck goes back into the pond.

This game was really fun and had loads of learning. The best part is to see how excited Nikki would get when she got all the matching ducks. Seeing her so proud really made this game so great for us!

Let’s Go Fishin’

The game that I remember and loved as a kid has me reminisce on family game nights with my sister. Now I get to share it with my daughter with Pressman Toy, Let’s Go Fishin’. This classic kids game teaches hand-eye coordination as players use their mini fishing poles to try to catch the most fish. The challenge is that the board game spins, and the fish open and close their mouths.

This game was an ultimate favorite for Nikki as she played for endless hours and each time her skills on catching the fishes were getting better and better. We adored this game and we know it will
