Melanie Braga is the owner and writer of Momma Braga. She graduated from Humber College with a Social Service Worker diploma. She has over 15 years in the non-profit sector, helping the most vulnerable in Toronto communities. She then stepped into the fundraising world for seven years where she built strong relationships with her donors and her event coordinating ability became an asset. Melanie is also a mother of one and started a blog called, Momma Braga. This platform was established to document her journey in life and in parenthood. She hopes that through her blog, she can inspire and help others. This is why she prides herself on sharing the journey of other parents as she feels we can all learn from one another and support each other. It is about creating a positive community with no judgement.
Melanie was named the 2017 Blogger of the Year by The Baby Spot and to ensure that the absence of Melanie was not felt, she has been assigned as the new Assignments Editor for this prestigious global parenting magazine.
Melanie balances a full time position within the Construction industry, motherhood and her blog – Momma Braga. Melanie has also been busy writing a children’s book to inspire young readers. All of this keeps her life full and she wouldn’t have it any other way.

Grace Cross is a boring person surrounded by extremely interesting individuals. When not enjoying the time of her close family and friends, she is the Founder of The Baby Spot, a global parenting magazine. She thought of the idea when she was in the shower to create a worldwide magazine that celebrated the similarities and embraced the differences of parenting practices world-wide. The Baby Spot has become a brand, for parents who are interested in lifestyle, travel, product reviews and stories from those around the globe. Combined with her love of writing, she is pleased to be an international platform for bloggers, experts, celebrities and brands to talk about this crazy life we call parenting. Grace also co-owns Artist’s Opus Twitter handle, which republishes artist’s work from around the world so artists and art appreciators can connect, comment and enjoy the celebration which is art.
If Grace was not weird enough, she is an author of Young Adult Science Fiction Novels, SINC and Interface. She loves dystopian sci- fi and is working on a picture book.
