Welded Tube of Canada is a diversified steel pipe and tube producer with annual production capacity of 700,000 tons. Headquartered in Concord, Ontario, Canada, Welded Tube owns and operates five manufacturing and finishing facilities strategically located in Canada and the U.S. to ideally serve the North American marketplace.
On December 23, 2024, the employees of Welded Tube of Canada found themselves locked out which is the first in the company’s 50+ year history as a fair deal could not be reached.

We are currently on day ten of the lock out with no signs of improvement. This is a shame as the effects of this lock out will have a massive impact on families and the communities that this company serves in Canada and the United States.

On January 26, 2025, an agreement between the workers and Welded Tube of Canada has finally been made. The resilience and dedication of these employees these past 35 days has been remarkable. Now the hard part comes, mending the broken morale in the workplace. Wishing everyone the very best and happy that families can start living again.
