The Mommies on The Bus

The Mommies on The Bus is a cozy hug, a cup of cocoa, and a starry night rolled into one. Share it with your little co-passenger, and let the magic unfold.

Synopsis

While a child might only think of how a bus’s wheels go round and round, round and round, round and round, mommies know to be prepared with “snacks, snacks, snacks.” And she’ll have to remind her child “here’s our stop, here’s our stop, here’s our stop!”

#MelAndNikkiReview

The Mommies on the Bus is a delightful symphony of love, laughter, and wheels. Set to the familiar tune of “The Wheels on the Bus,” Hannah Eliot’s creation takes us on a whimsical ride through the everyday adventures of mommies and their little ones.

O’Callaghan’s art is a burst of sunshine. The bus windows frame snapshots of life: a baby’s first steps, a shared cookie, a tired mommy’s yawn. The colors pop like confetti at a birthday party.

Reasons Why We Love It

1. Rhythmic Rhymes

Eliot’s lyrical prose dances like a carefree leaf caught in a gentle breeze. As the bus wheels go round and round, we meet mommies who juggle it all—diapers, giggles, and snack time. The rhythm is infectious; you’ll find yourself tapping your toes and humming along.

2. Diverse Cast

Airin O’Callaghan’s illustrations are a kaleidoscope of joy. Each mommy—whether in hijab, braids, or glasses—radiates warmth. The bus becomes a melting pot of cultures, proving that love knows no boundaries.

3. Tiny Triumphs

From spilled juice to lost toys, the mommies handle it with grace. They’re superheroes in yoga pants, turning chaos into giggles. And when the bus stops for a hug, you’ll feel your heart swell.

4. Inclusivity

Eliot weaves inclusivity into every verse. Whether it’s a two-mom family or a single parent, this book celebrates the beautiful tapestry of motherhood.

The Mommies on the Bus reminds us that love rides alongside us, even when the wheels stop. It’s in the lullabies sung, the hands held, and the bedtime kisses. So hop aboard, sing loud, and cherish the journey, click here to purchase.
