Scaredy Squirrel is back and in a whole new adventure – with a surprise! Of course this book is done in very Scaredy Squirrel fashion. This means nuttier and funnier than ever!

Synopsis
In this second NUTTY ADVENTURE, Scaredy is in for a big surprise . . . and Scaredy does NOT like surprises. He is a squirrel who likes a schedule, predictability, nothing unexpected. So, what’s inside the mysterious crate? Turns out it’s a POOL! Scaredy imagines sharks, eels and algae! He prepares safety rules! Luckily his friends Ivy, Timber and newcomer Rash are happy to remind him of another important rule . . . having fun!
#MelAndNikkiReview
Scaredy Squirrel Gets a Surprise is nuttier and even funnier than the first nutty adventure, Scaredy Squirrel in a Nutshell. I can empathize with Scaredy Squirrel as I am not big on surprises and they actually do make me a tad nervous when there is a surprise for me. But I can always count on my friends to make me feel better and ease me into the surprise. Just like Scaredy Squirrel’s friends did for him.
We loved reading this graphic novel as it brings wit and the amazing message that if you are surrounded by amazing people, you get the support to help you through. I must admit that I wish I had a pool surprise! 🙂
For this #MelAndNikkiReview, we give this graphic novel 5 pools out of 5! It made an amazing splash for reading time in our home and Nikki couldn’t stop giggling while she read the story. By the way, I love and appreciate all the plans and checklists that Scaredy Squirrel prepares. A quality that I too have and that is why I admire it! Overall, just another amazing read and addition to the Nutty series! With summer coming up, it is a must read for your young reader.
