#MelAndNikkiReview
’90s Baby is the book that every household should have! Hannah Eliot has written a nostalgic and fun board book that celebrates the culture and trends of the 1990s.
The book follows a young girl who proudly declares that she is a nineties baby, and shows off her favorite things from that decade. She wears a bucket hat, a fanny pack, and a scrunchie, listens to a Walkman, plays with a Tamagotchi, and uses a pager (boy, does that bring back memories)! She also uses some nineties slang, such as “wicked”, “fly”, and “iconic”. The book is full of colorful and cute illustrations by Alyssa Nassner, that capture the essence and style of the nineties.

I love the ‘90s and it was such a cool book to read. I will have to read it to all my younger cousins so they can learn about the ‘90s. ~ Nikki, Age 9
The book is a perfect way to introduce young readers to the history and pop culture of the nineties, and to spark some nostalgia and conversation among older readers who grew up in that era. 90s Baby is a rad and retro read that will make you say “as if!”
