Cinderella-with Dogs!

Cinderella-with Dogs is the Cinderella version we have been waiting for! Captivating and larger than life characters will have everyone thinking this story is PAWSOME! – Momma Braga

Synopsis

When Cinderella wishes for a fairy godmother, she’s not expecting one that barks! And this fairy dogmother has a different agenda. Yes, Cinderella will have a new dress, but made of a cozy dog blanket. Yes, they will go to the ball, but they will run there and chase squirrels along the way. There’s nothing like a canine companion to get a girl out of the house and her mind off her troubles! Yes, indeed, dogs do make everything better—and are a reminder that you don’t need “happily ever after” when you have the joy of now.

#MelAndNikkiReview

Cinderella-with Dogs is a Cinderella like no other and that is why we love it the best! This story has been doggified in the best ways possible. The characters are all larger than life and the twist end is just pawsome!

Nikki has loved reading this story to her French Bulldog Tyson who tries to sniff the dogs in the story.  Nikki’s favorite part is when the Prince’s parents exclaimed that they love dogs. My favorite part is the fairy dogmother and I am wondering where I could get one! 😉 Tyson’s favorite part was chasing squirrels (lol).

For this #MelAndNikkiReview, we give this story 10 woofs out of 5 (ratings doubled since Tyson also gave his paw approval)! 😉 A unique spin on a classic tale that will have readers giggling throughout. This will become a new Cinderella favorite for the whole family especially those who believe any story is better with dogs!

About the Illustrator

FREYA HARTAS is a UK-based illustrator of children’s books. She lives in the vibrant city of Bristol with her partner, Sam, and their ancient black cat, Katsu, and works from her cozy, cluttered desk in a shared studio down the road. Freya would probably consider herself more of a cat person, but she very much enjoyed drawing all the silly dogs in this book!
