Celebrate Earth Day with Earth | Children’s Book

Earth Day is celebrated annually on April 22nd worldwide. On this day, various events are held to demonstrate support for environmental protection. It is important to do our part to protect our beautiful Earth and Earth Day is a great way to make sure we all remember that.

Now it might be difficult to explain Earth to your little ones but we have a great solution for everyone and it is called, Earth! My First 4.54 Billion Years. It is a children’s book written by Stacy McAnulty and illustrated by David Litchfield.

Synopsis

Hi, I’m Earth! But you can call me Plant Awesome. I’ve been around for almst 4.54 billion years. I have seven siblings in my solar system (not including Pluto, who’s more like the family pet). My favorite thing to do is spin! It takes me an entire year just to circle the sun, but I don’t mind. And that’s not all. Someone needs to give you the facts, and I’m the best planet for the job. Take a look inside and explore the world of – well,  the world!

We were so thrilled to receive this book as we have been wanting to explain Earth in the most fun way to our three year old and now we have one.

Earth is an adorable book about Earth or should I say Plant Awesome! 🙂 It is filled with interesting facts about our amazing world and it is a great introduction to young children (ages four to eight). With each page turn, the illustrations are captivating and vibrant which makes the book even more enjoyable. Not to mention the bits of humor in the story…at least we know Earth has a funny side! 😉

Read this book about Earth,
written by Earth, while you float through
space on – you guessed it – Earth!

We can’t get enough of Earth in our home and that means it is repeated every night for bedtime. This is why we give this book 5 Earth Spins Out of 5!

This book is a great way to bring some learning fun to your home as you celebrate Earth Day!
