Can Ila keep her baby lamb safe and happy?

#MelAndNikkiReview

We Adopted A Baby Lamb is an adorable book based on a true story of a lamb named Albert. It isn’t difficult to fall in love with Albert as he adapts to life with his new family and country life.

As a parent I love the message of the importance for caring and owning a pet. It is a big responsibility and this story reflects that beautifully to help children understand. We saw how much work it was to care for a lamb and even though caring for any pet is. The love is there and they do become part of your family.

That was Nikki’s favorite part! When Ilha realizes that her family is now Albert’s flock and they all loved him. We both went awe at the same time. 🙂

For this #MelAndNikkiReview, we give this book 5 BAAAAAs out of 5! Illustrations and storyline were adorable. The message was perfect and we love being able to see the real Albert featured in the book too. You just have to see it! Nikki and I had a great conversation after reading the story about the responsibilities of owing a pet. It was a great discussion and exercise to do. We recommend to do this fun exercise once you finish reading the story.

This book is great for children aged three to seven. If you would like to purchase this adorable book, click here.
